Tierce is a wonderful example of collaboration among the wineries and winemakers of the Finger Lakes. Born in 2005, it’s the product of blending the best from Anthony Road, Fox Run and Red Newt wine companies.
I’ve been told by one of the wine-makers to wait a few more years before trying. We’re looking forward to doing this side-by-side comparison of 2012 v 2013 vintages. The wine makers listed for 2012 were Johannes Reinhardt (AR), Dave Whiting (RN) and Peter Bell (FR). By 2013, Kelby Russell replaced Dave and Peter Becraft replaced Johannes.
Patience is needed while we dream about the side-by-side for a few more years.
