Last year, we visited Weis Vineyards on Keuka Lake ( Zum Wohl! — Weis Vineyards on Keuka Lake ) . Alice and I had a chance to catch up with Peter and Ashlee to see what progress they have made.
Upon our arrival, we notice the tasting room has a fresh coat of paint and new entry doors.
The same great wine is being served inside. The 2017 Dry Riesling won Double Gold in this year’s NY Wine Classic!
In addition to tasting room upgrades, they have started refurbishing the on-property barn as a large group/event room.
When we were visiting, Peter was busy setting up his new production building with a truck load of equipment that he recently received. He is hoping to use this equipment for his 2018 vintage.
They also hope to be able to setup an outdoor area for fair-weather events!
Lastly, and most importantly, Peter and Ashlee are now husband and wife!
